  • Settings - New options for defining a default Target used in file Configuration Validation 
  • Registers - New Configuration Validation options to use a default 'Target' 
  • Registers - Selecting 'Refresh Selected Register(s)' from the context menu now also includes the Registers for any selected files

  • Registers - Refresh of a Register preserves the current view 
  • Registers - Register hierarchy corrects automatically if the parent register is the root of a drive (cf 6.5.0.1) 
  • Registers - Log Files from cleaning can be viewed, opened using Print Preview / Export or opened by the Windows default RTF application. 
  • Registers - A Related Log file is now linked to the output (cleaned) file in the register (after refresh)

XER Manager Professional Version 6.1 Upgrade Released (Build 6.1.2.1)

Enhancements
  • Run Report dialog now shows the Change button when the data source is MS Access 
  • When creating XER files using special reports that read spreadsheet data, the Run Dialog will now prompt for any parameters
  • Additional data is now published that enables comprehensive file comparison reporting
  • The Registers view is now a fully hierarchical view supporting sub folders, as is the view in Reporting Quick Data 
  • The Add Register function has been enhanced for selecting folders 
  • A new Default Sort button added. Sorting by multiple columns using Shift+Click is still available for all views 
  • User Defined Layouts that preserve filters, columns, sorting, expand/collapse, conditional formatting and position
  • The application now preserves the Register view across sessions
  • Removal of OBS entries enhanced to cater for orphaned nodes
            Prior versions retained the top OBS node even when All OBS removal was requested, to preserve integrity.
            This change ensures at least one OBS remains and is assigned even if the top OBS node cannot be found in the file. 
  • The cleaning template's Add Mapping dialog includes the option to Make  Global (for Activity Codes and Calendars)
  • A new User Setting has been added to turn the Refreshing of views On/Off at start-up 
  • Application recognizes R19.x files

XER Manager Professional Version 6.0 Upgrade Released  (Build 6.0.2.0)

Enhancements
  • Data source Field List now shows informative icons based on the names of fields 
  • Data binding now uses expressions providing enhanced capabilities. Automatic conversion of existing reports. 
  • Added a new Report Gallery tab to store frequently used items, including full report layouts, and use them across different reports.
  • Added new columns to hold information about the last cleaning action of a file/folder viz: date, time taken in seconds, template used 
  • Added ability to view the last cleaning log for any file/folder in the register view using the new View Log command 
  • Selecting a folder in the Registers view and choosing Batch Clean will auto-populate the batch form in the Cleaning view
  • Browse Changes tab - the view will now show up to 15,000 rows of changes 
  • Log of the last cleaning action for every file/folder is now saved in RTF format for later viewing

Migration of existing XER Manager licence holders to XER Manager Professional

Existing XER Manager license holders with current support and maintenance will receive the XER Manager Professional 3.0 foundation release as a free migration of their XER Manager 2.5 or 2.6 products.

XER Manager Professional can be installed side-by-side with XER Manager 2.5 or 2.6 if you need.

Any existing XER Manager license holders with either expired or with no current support and maintenance will be able to purchase a license for XER Manager Professional 3.0 foundation release at a 20% discount for each such license held.

All new licences offered from 25 June, 2015 will be for XER Manager Professional.

We have spent almost 2 years on this foundation release and hope you will be excited as us when you see what it can do for you.
